I love you.
DO IT. DO IT. He’s your soulmate. I can help with whatever you need me to help with. This is so exciting!!
I— really?! You have no idea how happy I am that you’re on board with this. I need to come up with some ideas. And I need to find the perfect ring. And I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing. This might take awhile. Okay, tomorrow we need to do some research.
And absolutely no telling Blaine! I know you think you’re a good secret keeper, but you get this excited look and you start clapping your hands like a seal when you know a secret. This has to stay between us.
Thank you. I don’t know what I would do without you.
What is it?
And I don’t know what I’d do without you either.
Okay, so, you know how you came in my bedroom the other day and saw me slam my laptop cover shut and I made some excuse about how I was upset that someone outbid me on ebay for that crystal skull brooch? That’s… not really what happened.
I was… looking at engagement rings. For Blaine. I know I wasn’t completely on board with your engagement and I wasn’t supportive with the whole situation, but I can’t help it. Things have been so amazing between the two of us and I don’t know if it’s just the insanely sappy holiday movies that have gotten to my head or what, but I can’t help thinking about how amazing it would be to be engaged. Blaine is it for me. He makes this whole crazy city feel like home. I’ve kept quiet about it, but I’m going crazy here and I need my best girl’s opinion on all of this. Please tell me I haven’t gone off the deep end.
Is it sparkly?
Paolo stormed out of rehearsal today, and guess who got yelled at for it? Me. I also had to sing My Man, which made me think of Finn, and that made me even grumpier. Enough about me…. How are you and Blaine?
I’m not giving you any hints, Rachel. Even if you use that famous Berry pout I know so well.
But that sounds like a pretty disastrous rehearsal. I know how dedicated you are though, and I’m sure they see it too. You just gotta brush it off, and come back to the next rehearsal like nothing happened.
And Blaine is good. I haven’t seen much of him this week, we’ve mostly been texting because my schedule this week is atrocious. But there’s actually something I wanted to talk to you about. I wasn’t sure how to being it up because I know how upset you’ve been about losing contact with Finn, but I really need your opinion on this.
Did you get me anything? Kidding. I’m sorry about your feet.
Good. Rehearsal was tough.
I may have bought you something.
What happened at rehearsal? I heard you when you came in and threw your bag on the floor. I figured you needed some downtime so I didn’t want to pry.
Popcorn, gummy worms, junior mints, I usually have a whole arsenal of snacks, haha.
I have two small things I need to pick up and I have one big gift left to get, and then I am all done!
Hey there buttercup!! How are you?
I’m good. My feet are killing me though. I should have known better than to wear a pair of my knee high boots to the mall. I almost shopped till I dropped.
How was your day?
I love “Oh Holy Night” and “Little Drummer Boy” and of course, I’ll always have a soft spot for “Baby It’s Cold Outside” which started a Christmas duet tradition with Blaine.
Oh honey, I understand that completely. Be lucky you didn’t get the gene which will have you completely gray by the time you’re 30 like I did.
It’s a little vain, I know. Blaine laughed at me. Even after I threw my hairspray bottle at him.
